Tonight on the The Real, host Mark Wolfe talks with Jerry Waters, “Charleston’s Historian.” According to the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, “Waters was born and raised in Charleston, on the back side of town, and has spent his life as a sailor, radio announcer, newspaper photographer and fire department captain.

Waters provided images for volumes I and II of Kanawha County Images by Stan Cohen and Richard Andre. He also designed the cover of Volume II. The two talk about Charleston history, the ongoing homeless issues, photography
